Automotive production in Mexico grew 13.1 percent, year-over-year, in March, totaling 346,124 vehicles, the eleventhconsecutive increase, reveal data from the national statistics agency lnegi analyzed by SteelOrbis.
From January to March, production totaled 922,177 units,8.6 percent more than the same period in 2022.
According to lnegi statistics, 272,687 vehicles were exported in March, 3.9 percent more than in the same month of2022.
Inegi production information comes from the records of 13 companies of the Mexican Association of the AutomotiveIndustry (AMIA) and the export data of 12 affiliated companies.
