From March 2022 to March 2023, Iran’s exports of semi-finished products were 7.37 million tonnes, down 4% year-on-year. Finished steel exports were 3.28 million tonnes, down 3% year-on-year; of which plate exports were approximately 470,000 tonnes, down 17% year-on-year. Scrap exports were 860,000 tonnes, down 18 per cent year-on-year.
