India’s National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Nagarnar steel plant, originally scheduled to start production by March 31, was postponed last month to April, and the company recently announced that it has postponed its start-up again until the end of June.
The steel plant, located in Chhattisgarh, has an annual capacity of 3 million tons and is expected to produce 200,000-300,000 tons of plates in the fiscal year 2023-24.
